HKCT won the 1st runner-up in the Bun Tower Climbing Team Relay and third place in the Bun Tower Climbing – Ultimate Team Challenge at the annual "Climbing Carnival 2025".
HKCT sent 2 teams of students from Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sports Management with Coaching, and Higher Diploma in Fitness, Coaching and Sports Management to participate in the “Bun Tower Climbing Team Relay”. Among the competitors from various tertiary institutions, HKCT ultimately emerged as the 1st runner-up in the team relay. Students learned a lesson from the previous competition, and through hard training and mutual supervision, everyone’s efforts paid off, and they successfully achieved another great result!
The "Bao Shan Carnival 2025" to be staged at the soccer pitch of Pak Tai Temple Playground, Cheung Chau from 6 April to 6 May 2025 is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Cheung Chau Bun Festival Committee and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, in association with the Cheung Chau Wai Chiu County Association Limited, the Cheung Chau Rural Committee, the Islands District Office of the Home Affairs Department and the Hong Kong, China Mountaineering and Climbing Union. The carnival aims to familiarise the public with the bun scrambling tradition and local customs.
