The Hong Kong Observatory issued the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 at 6:40am today (9 October), all classes and examinations will be cancelled, and all campuses and teaching centres will be temporarily closed. If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 is removed before the following time, the afternoon and evening classes will be arranged as follows:
If the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 is removed before 10:30 in the morning, the afternoon and evening classes/examinations will continue as scheduled;
If it is removed before 5 pm, the evening class/examination will continue as scheduled.
