Programme Contents

This course targets at persons serving in retailing and service industries of position ranging from senior management, marketing managers to frontline officers, and those who are interested in this topic.

Upon completion of this course, students are able to:

  • Recognize the scope of the major provisions of the Trade Description Ordinance (TDO)
  • Understand the implication of the major offences pescribed by the TDO
  • Realize the various defences available
  • Comprehend the common method of unfair trade practices
  • Know the enforcement guideline of Customs and consumer redress

Students meeting the attendance requirement of 70% will be awarded Certificate of Attendance.

  • Completion of secondary school; or

  • Aged 18 or above
