Description
Professional Diploma in Computing This programme offers a flexible part-time learning route to those who pursue for vocational and professional learning opportunities in computing. Students can articulate to the final year of the top-up degree of computing.
This two years programme provides a fast route to pursue a UK honors degree in computing.

  • This programme offers a flexible part-time learning route to those who pursue for vocational and professional learning opportunities in computing.
  • Graduates of this programme are eligible to apply for the final year of BSc (Hons) Computing (Reg. No.: 252333)* awarded by Leeds Beckett University in collaboration with Hong Kong College of Technology. 

* It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognize any qualification to which this course may lead.

Entry Requirements

Year 1 Entry Requirement(s):

  • Level 2 in 5 HKDSE subjects with 1 year of relevant working experience; or
  • Holder of Diploma with 1 year of relevant working experience; or
  • Student aged 21 or above with 3 years of relevant working experience; or
  • Equivalent Qualifications

Year 2 Entry Requirement(s):

  • Holder of Higher National Certificate in related area with 1 year of relevant working experience; or
  • Holder of Higher Certificate in related area with 1 year of relevant working experience; or
  • Holder of Advanced/Professional/Higher Diploma or Associate Degree of other disciplines with 2 years of relevant working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis; or
  • Equivalent Qualifications

Note: All applicants must pass an admission interview.

Total $47,760 (in 6 installments)

HKCT Alumni Fee Reduction*

  • HKCT former student who has completed a one year programme or above is eligible.
  • 5% of total tuition fee reduction (max $1,000) will be made in the last instalment of tuition fee payment.

Early Bird Discount*

  • Application submitted on or before 31 July 2023 is eligible.
  • The reduction is $500 and will be made in the last instalment of tuition fee payment.

*Applicants are eligible to apply for either one of HKCT Alumni Fee Reduction or Early Bird Discount. In the event of any dispute, the decision of HKCT shall be final.
