This 3‑day course is designed for aviation executives who need a general understanding of how airworthiness and flight‑safety regulation is controlled in Hong Kong, and how individuals, manufacturers, operators, and maintenance organisations are required to comply with the relevant airworthiness regulations. The course also places Hong Kong's regulatory framework within the international context established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Students who successfully complete the course with an attendance rate of 90% or above will be awarded a completion certificate issued by the HKCT Institute of Higher Education (CTIHE).
