THong Kong' s airworthiness and flight‑safety regulatory system is detailed and involves multiple HKAR regulations, approvals, and certification processes. Aviation executives often need a broad understanding of how these regulations are structured and enforced by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD). The Hong Kong Airworthiness Course for Aviation Executive was therefore developed to give senior aviation personnel foundational knowledge of how airworthiness and safety regulation is controlled in Hong Kong.

  3. Flight Operation-Air Operator’s Certificates Requirement Document Part One
  4. Flight Operation-Air Operator’s Certificates Requirements Document Part Two
  5. Safety Management System, Human Factor
  6. Operational Approval (Subject)
  7. MMEL and MEL (Subject)
  8. HKAR-145 approved maintenance organization
  9. Panel Discussion
Programme Features

This 5‑day course provides an understanding of how Air Operator Certificate (AOC) regulation is controlled in Hong Kong, and ensures that individuals, manufacturers, operators, and maintenance organizations comply with the relevant AOC requirements. It also places Hong Kong’s regulatory framework within the international context established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Students who successfully complete the course with an attendance rate of 90% or above will be awarded a completion certificate issued by the HKCT Institute of Higher Education (CTIHE).
