This 10-day course explains how airworthiness and safety regulations are administered in Hong Kong and provides an overview of the regulatory processes and procedures employed by the Civil Aviation Department of the HKSAR (CAD). The course examines how CAD ensures compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements by individuals, manufacturers, operators, and maintenance organisations.
These activities are presented within the international regulatory framework established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Upon completion of the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of airworthiness regulations and the practical implementation of regulatory compliance.

This course is suitable for aviation personnel who require an overall understanding of how airworthiness and safety regulations are administered in Hong Kong. It is particularly beneficial to personnel from airlines, air operators, maintenance organisations, and parts manufacturers.

Students who successfully complete the course with an attendance rate of 90% or above will be awarded a completion certificate issued by the HKCT Institute of Higher Education (CTIHE).
