The general course breakdown for this 2-day training course is as follows :
During the first day the Airworthiness Concept and Legal Framework of Hong Kong will be explained in general terms. This will be followed by a presentation of HKAR-21 Requirements, AMC and GM.

Subpart D - Changes to Type Certificates
Subpart E - Supplemental Type Certificates
Subpart G - Production Organization Approval
Subpart H - Certificates of Airworthiness
Subpart I - Noise Certificates
Subpart J - Design Organization Approval
Subpart K - Materials, Parts, Processes and Appliances
Subpart M - Repairs
Subpart O - Hong Kong Technical Standard Order (HTSO) Authorisations
Subpart Q - Identification of Products, Parts and Appliances
CAD procedures will be covered in the following subjects :
1. The validation process of Type Certification
2. Approval procedures on modification and repair
3. Acceptance / validation of foreign products on HK registered aircraft the HKAR-21
HKAR-21 2-day course will end with a Panel Discussion by sharing experience between CAD officer and industry partners.
